Rabi spectra - a simple tool for analyzing the limitations of RWA in modelling of the selective population transfer in many-level quantum systems

The controlled manipulation of quantum systems is becoming an importanttechnological tool. Rabi oscillations are one of the simplest, yet quite usefulmechanisms for achieving such manipulation. However, the validity of simpleRabi theory is limited and its upgrades are usually both technically involved,as well as limited to the simple two-level systems. The aim of this paper is todemonstrate a simple method for analyzing the applicability of the RWA Rabisolutions to the controlled population transfer in complex many-level quantumsystems.
